Having Fun With Sixth is v Guarana

Energy Drinks thought they had a winner in V Guarana, but small did they know that along with this vibrant energy drink came a story, misplaced in time and stranger than fiction; the "believe it or not" type of tale that, rather than being just plain foolish, added that small extra spice to an already interesting drink.

So here follows the story of V Guarana. In the interests of accuracy, fact has been separated from fiction, even though truth is not as much fun as the legend.

Legend:

Enter the Vigoratis - the tribe of Amazons who were surprisingly short, but tend to work all day, party all night, and still find the energy to build ancient monuments to their gods. Their village was surrounded by guarana plants, and the morning make made from the guarana seeds gave them the power to build temples underneath the supervision of builder, Vita-Laze.

One day Vita-Laze missed his morning guarana. To cut an extended story short, the actual temple building to come was a disaster and that he was banished in the tribe. Taking only a few guarana plants, he paddled lower the Amazon and reached New Zealand, an extraordinary feat of routing considering that the Amazon drain pipes into the Atlantic Ocean and not the Pacific. Regardless of that, upon landing he was apprehended by the local natives and was able to conserve himself by giving the tribe chief a glass or two of his make. The chieftain experienced their first burst of energy, and commissioned Vita-Laze to supply his warriors so he could pillage and overcome. The secret brew was presented with down through the decades until today, when it is still produced as V, in honor of the Vigoratis and Vita-Laze.

Reality:

V is produced from guarana extract made from the floor seeds of the guarana grow. This plant is native to the Amazon . com basin, and has already been used by native individuals for centuries to increase stamina and mental alertness. It grows normally in the rain forest on the vine which can achieve 10 metres higher. When grown in open areas it becomes a tree 2 to 3 metres high. The orange or red-colored fruit forms within clusters and splits open when it's fresh, revealing a whitened fleshy substance around the seed. When the ripe fruit is hanging in the tree, it looks such as watching eyes, which is probably quite frightening for anyone lost within the Amazon.

Even though the truth is not as interesting as the legend, consumers associated with V Guarana can still be grateful that Frucor Beverages saw its potential like a market rival with other energy drinks, as well as decided to manufacture Sixth is v Guarana for the Australasian market. Power Drinks also arrived on board by including V Guarana in its range of products, and it is now available all through South East Queensland.
